Thank you for visiting my website. I hope the information here is useful to you if you are looking for a therapist. I know what a commitment it can be to start therapy and how important it is to find the right person.
The best way to decide who is the right therapist for you is to pay attention to how comfortable you feel talking to them, and to trust your instincts as to who feels ‘right’ for you. Not all therapists will suit everyone, and you may need to ‘shop around’ to find the person who feels right for you.
I offer an initial session in order to give potential clients a chance to explore if we are right to work together, without any obligation to continue.
I have a limited number of spaces at reduced rates for people on low incomes, means-tested benefits and students, and a waiting list if I don’t have any spaces for new clients at any time.
I work with individuals, usually over the age of 18. I don’t offer couples or family therapy. At present I also don’t offer supervision.
My counselling rooms are run by a local not-for-profit organisation, Counselling Rooms CiC, which hosts a range of therapists working from different modalities, and is committed to offering affordable, accessible therapy. I am happy to refer clients on or recommend a colleague if it seems that a different counsellor would be a better fit for you.
If you would like to discuss your therapy needs please contact me by phone or email.
